Officially an adult.

Hey all, long time no talk. Here's the update on my life: graduated, got my first adult job, an awesome downtown apartment and am considering what my first adult purchase should be. Things I'm debating: a puppy, an apple laptop, or an expensive couch for my awesome downtown apartment. Also, clothes. That's a plural, but it's more of a moving up the price bracket situation. I'm currently inspired by the run of warm weather we had a few weeks ago. Closely followed by the first tornado(es) of the season. Looking for some great spring dresses. I am currently inspired by Natalie Wood's lovely wardrobe in West Side Story. Any ideas?

I'm so cool, I should be on Gossip Girl!

I am now a proud owner of a Foley + Corinna bag! And I am in LOOVE. To be honest, this would not have been the bag I would have chosen as there's a little too much metallic going on for me; however it was the only Foley + Corinna bag anywhere near my price range. Alice McCall for Topshop!

I loved the Alice McCall for Australian Target line and was crushed when I couldn't find the pieces that I wanted on Ebay. I'm so excited that she's now creating a line for Topshop! Granted it will be double what I'm able to pay (around 80 pounds or $160 for a piece) but at least it's more accessible. I can't wait for the actual pieces! My Obsession with Sweater Vests

Here's the story... There was a slight incident with a guy in Las Vegas wearing a sweater vest and now I find myself entirely obsessed with sweater vests. For instance, my ideal man now dresses like this:

This is very unlike me. Prior to this spontaneous fetish acquisition, I was totally into scruffy, manly, bad boys. Now I just prefer my bad boys to wear sweater vests. Unfortunately, I have yet to meet another guy in a sweater vest, particularly as I live in Nebraska. This has led to an utter disinterest in every guy I have met lately. I am thinking of buying a sweater vest or two for myself in the hopes of attracting a like minded individual,but that opens up an entirely new ethical dilemna: is it weird to be attracted to yourself because of a sweater vest? Are there any sweater vest-wearing lads out there?
